First Aid for the Blind Foundation
We believe that all individuals, regardless of vision loss, should have access to support and resources that will allow them to thrive and live meaningful lives.
Our Purpose
It is estimated that about seven million Americans have some form of vision loss (CDC). According to the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, 50,000 people endure eye injuries each year. Despite these numbers, medical insurance companies do not necessarily offer coverage to help visually-impaired peopled receive the support the need. The First Aid for the Blind Foundation proudly steps in to fill that gap.
FAFTB Foundation
The purpose of the First Aid for the Blind Foundation is to generate funds to help those who are blind and visually impaired afford vital training and assistive devices that will help them live confidently and independently. Dollars from grants, donations, and sponsorships will be used to purchase necessary assistive devices and fund scholarships for rehabilitation training.
